VIAGRA IS SUCCESSFUL FOR APPROXIMATELY 65% OF IMPOTENT MEN
Viagra works for about 75% of impotent men.
However it may cause some side effects of a minor nature, such as headache, blushing, indigestion and occasionally, altered colour vision. These side effects subside as the effect of the Viagra passes off, but make approximately 10% of patients sufficiently uncomfortable that the use of the medication is abandoned, thus reducing Viagra's success rate to about 65%.
There are two serious but uncommon side effects with Viagra. If you suffer from a very rare inherited eye condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa, which your eye doctor or optician would probably have told you about if you had it, then you must not use Viagra.
If you suffer from angina or heart pain of any sort and use any nitrate medications (Anginine or similar tablets or Nitrolingual Spray for under the tongue, Nitrate patches or Imdur tablets) then you must not use Viagra. If you ever have chest pain and a doctor is called, or you are taken to a hospital and a heart problem is suspected, then it is essential to inform the doctors if you have used Viagra within the previous 12 hours. Viagra interacts with nitrates to cause a dramatic drop in blood pressure, which can be fatal.
REVIEW
"Impotence has been a taboo subject in our society for generations.
By acquainting men with causes, treatment and prevention of this
disorder, Dr Beck helps impotent men to come to terms with their
problem. They will learn that treatment is available to preserve
precious relationships."

Reproductive Medicine Research Institute, Queen Elizabeth II
Medical Centre.
DR. NEIL BECK
Dr. Neil Beck entered private practice in the days
when family doctors delivered babies, gave
general anaesthetics and did tonsillectomies
and appendectomies, in addition to consulting,
home visiting and counselling.
When specialists took over more and more of the hospital work, he
gained experience in other fields. He completed a four week residential
training course at the Western Institute for Group and Family Therapy in
California and the first year of the Gestalt Institute of Perth's
part-time training course in psychotherapy. For four and a half years he was
the GP for 100 patients in a nursing home for the spinally injured.
For 9 years he was the GP for 75 patients in a state nursing home,
which cares for people suffering from multiple serious pathologies,
many of whom have serious pain or social problems.
This broad experience has proved invaluable in treating impotence
sufferers, as impotence is usually due to multiple factors. Dr Beck now
spends most of his time treating men suffering from sexual dysfunction.
Dr Beck has also developed other aids to diagnosis and treatment in
this field, including a self help questionaire, a diagnostic medical
record and a video.
